Family Picture...

You know that commercial where that lady is trying to get a family picture, but each one has someone doing something wrong in each one so you don't get a perfect one. I guess I could use one of those photo shop thing to take a face from each one to make the perfect one. Here are the attempts of a family photo...

Italian Sodas

While Alycia was here we broke out the bottle of this flavored syrup that I had bought a while ago to make Italian sodas. And made ourselves some yummy Italian sodas.

This the recipe that we used from Cooks.com YUMMY!!!

ITALIAN SODA
carbonated water 1/4 cup half and half 7 tablespoons of any flavored syrup ice whipped cream Measure syrup into a 20 oz cup. Add ice. Pour in half and half. Add carbonated water. Stir well. Serve topped with whipped cream. Enjoy!

Slumber Party

While Alycia and Lulu stayed came for visit. Kelsie happily gave her bed to Alycia and moved into Jaron and Karlee's room. It was like a slumber party every night. She was sad to have to go back to her bed ( cause Alycia and Lulu left and no more partying).

One night while they were having one of their slumber parties. I went to check on them after they had gone to sleep and this is what I found...

All of Karlee's blankets were out of her bed and she was inside a pillow case. (Side note: you can put Karlee in pj's when she goes to bed-but she will strip down to her diapers for the night, and then when she gets up in the morning get dressed again in her pj's.) So she has no clothes on either. We turn to where Kelsie is sleeping and see this...

Elementary Strings Concert

Kallie had her first concert for Elementary String Concert, in which she plays the violin. She did a very good job. They performed seven songs and if they wanted to, they could do a group solo. Here is picture of level one from my seat. You can't see Kallie she is behind the podium. I got a better picture of her the night before at dress rehearsal HERE .

Kallie is performing her group solo she did such a great in front of such a large group. The auditorium was filled to the brim. Kallie is the second one in.

After the concert we had our family come back and have some lunch before they went home. While they ate Kallie played her violin for them. Since we couldn't see her play during the concert. Thank you to all the family that came down for her concert and to support her. We sure do love you guys.

365 blog for 2011

I have been meaning to post the pictures for my 365 blog in 2011. I finally have. The blog is here. I was going to do another theme one, but I changed my mind. I am just doing my LIFE, pictures of my daily life. Check out if you want. I had fun doing the HAPPINESS one but it was a lot harder then I thought. So we are just going with PROJECT: LIFE 2011.

"... But I Can't Move."

As I was making dinner on Friday night I told Kelsie that we were going to go bike riding tomorrow morning. She left and went to her room, I continued making dinner. About 15 minutes she came wobbly out of her room like this...

...and said mom " I can't button my pants.I think I will be warm for the bike ride, but I don't think I will be able to ride my bike. I CAN'T MOVE!!" It was so funny she had put on a pair of tights, 3 pairs of jeans (don't know how she got them all on), and five shirts.

We did go bike riding the next day but she only wore one pair of pants and five shirts.

The Cleaning Lady

After we got back from dropping the kids off at school. I needed to clean up the morning mess. So I put Karlee to work. While unloaded the dishwasher to put the breakfast dishes in. Karlee put away the silverware for me. She does a great job in putting them in the right spot. And she knows to be careful with the scissors (which are really knives).

For her next job I asked her to get the dishes off the table. She realized that there was Cheerios left over that she needed to wipe off. So she got the sponge and got to work.

Decided that she couldn't get it all, just being in the chair and so she had to get on the table.

I guess it must of been a hard spot to get out. She had to get on one knee. She did a great job. (I did clean after she got off with her shoes.) She is a great helper.
