Kallie's 4th grade teacher is a awesome teacher and amazing artist.
He has done some murals around downtown.
Sunday we went for a walk to see the murals he has done through town.
Thought we would share with you.
Enjoy, we did.
Kingsley Field

Poole's Pelican Theater
First Train in Klamath Falls
Jaron and Kallie wanted to show how he made the people life size.
And that the train is life size as we found a train similar to the one in his picture at Veteran Park.

This One is For You Dad...

We found a place that we should of taken you to in October,
but we just discovered on our walk.
It is Veterans Memorial Park.
It has a plaque for each war that America has fought in.
We didn't know if you would make it back.
So we took pictures for you.
But if and when you do come back you will have to check this park out for yourself.

Sunday Pictures

For the past couple of Sundays, after church I have been having Karlee and the other girls pose for some pictures. When we got home from church on Sunday Karlee ran to the spot and so I had to get a picture. Jaron then asked if he could have his picture taken today too. So I said of course.
They turned out way better then spring photos, and it was just on a whim.
Look at how big he is getting.
(Wipe away that tear Alycia, he has tried to stay little for ya. :0)
Such a cutie!
Kelsie even wanted to get in on the pictures with Kallie's tiger.

Karlee's Family Party

After dinner we (the family) had cupcakes and present for Karlee's birthday.
(The older kids were sad that they didn't get to be at the lunch party).
Notice that the candles are lit on the cake.
We tried to get Karlee to blow them out.
(They are left over trick candles from Kallie's birthday).
Karlee was excited to see one get blown out, but then it came back to life...
again and again
So we all got in on trying to blow them out.
Remember how at Kallie's family party, she dove face first into the giant cupcake cake. Karlee wanted to do the same thing with her mini cupcake.
It was so funny.

We did gifts next. Look at the excitement on her face as she opens this gift. It was all that I was hoping for.I was excited she was excited. Maybe she would love this gift as much as the one she got last year, from Rachie.
She gets it out of the bag and inspects it.
It is soft-check.
It is cuddly-check
It has a tail (most important part)-check.
Find a place in Karlee's heart- no check.
It can not replace her best friend BOB the dog.

So it gets no lovin and sit in the corner of her crib.
Sorry BOB the cow.
Thanks for trying.
What do we do when BOB the dog REALLY has seen better days.
We are on the look out for a look-a-like BOB the dog.

Birthday Party for a Two Year Old

For Karlee's birthday this year I wanted to do something fun-but I didn't know what. Finally I decided to just invite a couple of kids from nursery and their brothers and sisters and the kids I babysit and do lunch. It was fun and easy. We just had all the lunch foods that Karlee likes.
Here she is enjoying her lunch meat (no bread) just the way she likes it.
The two in nursery with her, Madelin and Kelson.
As the kids were singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to her, she was so excited. Since she was turning two and a party for little people I thought how fun it would be to do "mini" cupcakes. Then we open gifts and everyone went to their houses for naps. It was a lot fun to have friends come over and "do lunch".
Alycia here is a picture of Karlee in her Birthday outfit, that she wore all day. This was the best I could get.
A girl ready to party!

Kallie in Track

Here 4th through 6th graders get to do track. Kallie wanted to do it. I am proud of her sticking with it. When they first started practicing they would just run a mile and then be done with practice. She didn't really like that. I told her "to keep with it, it get better". And she did.
Here she is showing the ribbons that she won at the first field meet. They do field events one day and then the track events another. At this meet she got third on the high jump and second on the long jump. Since then she is only now doing one field event the long jump. At the track meets she does the 75 meter and the 100 meters. They had a track meet yesterday and she got second in both events. Just had to put this next picture in of Karlee and Kyle. Karlee trying to keep warm, when mommy forgot a coat for here, I have now learn my lesson.
