It turned out to be a good Mother's Day. I was kind of grumbly about Mother's Day because I usually end up feeling guilty that I am not be the best mom that I can be by the talks and praise that they give Mother's in church. But luckly it was a nice sacerment meeting. The ward gave the women mini muffins. ( my primary class could of been better, but I am being tested on that one :0) ). I got cute hand-made gifts and cards from Kallie and Jaron, and a nice card and chocolates from Kyle. Kyle let me sleep in a bit. And he also made a yummy dinner. And then suggested that we take a drive.
It was a beautiful day outside, just made you warm and happy. So we drove up to Crater Lake, it is about an hour away. Last time we went you couldn't see anything they were having a blizzard up there. So we tried again. And it was clear and warm up there, they still had all there snow up there. Snow drifts of 15 feet high or more. But we were able to see the lake and it was beautiful.

As you can see I was not dressed for the weather or walking conditions up at the Lake.

It was a nice Sunday drive and a great Mother's Day. Happy Mother's Day mom I love you.

Awww, it sounds like your Mothers Day was so sweet! I so love your brooch, it's beautiful. I also love that Jaron picked those boots. Kids make me giggle.

we love to go for drives...gets us out of the house, and the kids love it! Looks like you had fun :)
What a nice family outing. How lucky to live so close to such a beautiful place! By the way, you look darling in the picture!
