Birthday, Pink, Birthday

Ever since Jaron's birthday all the kids have been counting down the days until their birthdays and coming up with themes for their parties. Even Jaron. Yesterday Kallie informed me that it was exactly two months till her birthday. Kelsie piped up and asked me how long until her birthday, I told her; four months and eight days. She was devastated and said that she could not make it that long. She has been in love with this book lately "Pinkalilicous", always wanting to read it and wear pink (as you can see from the outfit above that she put together). Now she is on this kick about her birthday party, always talking about it and making sure that I remember it all. That she wants pink cupcakes, with pink streamers and pink balloons and a giant pink cupcake cake. I think we have found the theme for her birthday party. Kyle has even gotten into it, I told him about her Pinkalilicous-itis. And he came up with an idea that he should cover himself in pink paint and show up before the party saying to Kelsie, "Look what happen when I ate your party food, I turned Pink". "Pink-a-boo... Just like her little brother in the book. I think that it is so cool that he thinks about his kids parties too and comes up with ideas.
Unfortunately there are two more before her's and we still don't know what their themes are. Believe me Kallie has been deep in thought about it, she has even done a survey among my family. So if you have any ideas of a theme for a 10 year old birthday party.
Please leave your idea in the comment section.
Kallie would love your input and ideas.
And so would I.

They are good! Hint: If you aren't in a hurry...after you roll them out, put them in the fridge for 45 minutes, then dip them. This makes them easier to handle. Melt 1 pkg of your favorite chocolate chips plus 1 teaspoon shortening over LOW heat. Use a spoon to remove truffle from chocolate. You can use mint chips and they'll taste like Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies!

One of my kids at school had a pinkalicious party sounds like alot of fun! As for Kallie that is a tough one she should do a willie wonka and the chocolate factory that could be way fun with humpa lumpas and candy trees and chocolate rivers and candy flowers what more coudl a kid ask for.

Matthew really likes the book Pinkalicious too! It's a cute book and a good idea for a party. I don't know what to do for Kallie. How about a cheerleading party. I saw a cute cheerleader theme on FamilyFun.com when I was looking for ideas for Matthew's party. I'm sure Kallie will come up with a great idea...she seems to know what she wants. :)

We love Pinkalicious and Purplicious around here too. Rach wants a unicorn like the one in Goldilicious. You could do Harry Potter for Kallie, I still have all the stuff/ideas from Becka's tenth if she is into that. Let me know!
