On Thursday Karlee and I met up with Heidi and her littlest one, Hannah at a park in the middle of us. It is a park that I used to go to when I was a kid. It has a nice playground, lots of ducks and geese, it is just a nice park all around.
Karlee and Hannah are checking out the ducks when we first got there. Check out how close they got to this one. Hannah was ready to pet the ducks.
We played on the swings, Karlee pushed Hannah on the merry-go-round just her size. They also played on a little kid play structure, that had a fun slide the girls really enjoyed.
We had a picnic lunch.
The girls played with sticks, chasing the ducks.
Then we went over to feed the ducks, and brought out the bread that we had brought for them. There were these huge geese that surrounded us and came in closer then the ducks. As we were feeding them, a goose bit my finger as I was getting ready to toss the bread, (freaked me out). Once that happen we grabbed the girls (the geese were about the size of the girls) and took off for this bridge, where there were more ducks and no geese in the water and none on the bridge.
A duck got brave and ventured onto the bridge.
Karlee notice and was ready to share.
Check out all the ducks, and the one goose that figure out where we went. It was a fun day at the park in probably one of the last days of summer weather.
