Back in April my cousin's daughter did a book report on Fancy Nancy, she did such a good job. That after we read her report Kelsie and I went to the library to check out the books. We fell in love with them and decided that would be the theme for her birthday this year. It was so much fun to put it all together. Here is the birthday sign I made.

Fancy Nancy Birthday Party
Memorial Day
For Memorial Day in Klamath Falls they have a parade, the kids and I adventure over to it. And ran into some friends, we watched the parade with them. Here is the kids waiting for the parade to start.
Giving the Shriner a high five as he drove past in his "really cool car" as Jaron would say.
Then the kids and I walked over to Veterans park to view the field of flags. It was an awesome sight.
We are so grateful for our freedom, that so many have sacrifice so we can have it. Thank you Troops and their family. There are two special ones to me. My brothers Scotty and his family, and John. Thank You for all you are doing for us. We love you!!!
Karlee's 1st Haircut
As you all heard that Karlee got her first major haircut from her 3 year old sister. I wanted to have it fixed up so I took her to the place where they supposedly taught Kelsie to cut hair. And had them fix it up. This Karlee's first official haircut. She looks so big in the chair getting her hair cut. She was a very good girl.

Perfect Day for Picnic at the Park
Kyle had to attend a play in Ashland for one of his classes. It was a beautiful day so I decide that I would take the kids to this park that I really love-it is all fenced in. And take some pictures of the kids. The kids didn't really go for the pictures, but I did get some cute ones. Here the girls are eating their lunch, after the pictures were done. Notice that Karlee still has her ponytail here.
I thought it would be fun to have the kids spell out our last name. And I made a header for my blog. The funny thing is their eyes tightly close in all the pictures.M.I.A
Sorry I have been missing in action. But I want to take you on a blast to past to show you what we have been up to this summer. It is crazy to think that school starts in two week, where did the time go. I did keep current on my 365 blog while I was missing here. So here we go...

Joys of Parenthood
We put the kids to bed, Kyle was talking to his mom and I was talking to my sister. We thought that they were in bed going to sleep. But then Kallie came in and said that Kelsie was cutting up paper and Karlee's hair. I was so sad. Kelsie gave Karlee a Mullet (business on the top party in the back.) I use to be able to put in a ponytail (so cute). But Kelsie cut that right off. In one spot she got right to the scalp. In some of the pictures Karlee is crying my brother-in-law says it is because she knows it looks bad. (Just kidding). Tomorrow we will figure out what to do with it to make it look cute again, maybe shave it all off?Flash Flood Warning...
...Over there in Jackson County, but there is a flood in my garage. What is up with that? Tuesday I had done a couple loads of Landry, was working on the goody bags for Kelsie birthday party, and watching two kids for the lady I visit teach. She came and picked up her kids, as she picked them up it started to hail which turned into a down pour- wait no it was like someone was pouring a bucket of water on us. At first I thought this was cool and reminded me of the Portland area. I had even let the kids go outside and play in the rain and puddles.
While they were outside I went into my garage to grab the clothes out of the dryer to fold them. When I open the door there was a stream, wait no a river of water flowing through the garage floor. Oh I was sick to my stomach to see all of that water. Luckily when we moved in we put all the plastic boxes on bottom stacking the cardboard boxes on top. so they didn't get wreck. But we still needed to get the inch of water out of garage. So for the rest of the night Kallie, Jaron, and I squeegeed out all the water. Luckily it was muggy out so the water dried quickly once we got the water off the floor.
Fun times for a place that claims it only like rain here 10 days of the year. When it rains it pours.
