I am second counselor in Young Womens in our ward. We had New Beginnings last Wednesday and we did an un-birthday party. It was a lot of fun. I was asked to make 16 of these banners for decorations and then to give to the girls. When I went up to visit my family a couple weekends ago I took this project with me. My mom, sisters Serena and Alycia help me make them. I am so grateful for all their help I could not have done it without them. Here is a picture of some the ways that they used the banners as decorations.
At the Party we played some games, here is Julie and Jen playing pin the torch on the flame.
The girls decorated cakes for the party. I love Kaeti's cake because it had a sign on it that said: The cake I made was just so yummy...this is all that is left. It is funny because it totally fits her personality.
We also played musical chairs. I love how the parents and leaders also got into the game. We also had a small program all about Young Women's. It was a fun night.

Cute! It sounds like it was a fun evening and I can't believe you guys made all those banners!! I'm glad you had some help!
