The kids had Friday, Veterens day off, we met up with some good friends, the Harvey's. It was really cold we bundled up all cozy and headed out. We were so excited when we finally met up with them, we were so excited. Karlee talks about Molly all the time and was so excited to see her.
We walked all around the zoo, trying to see as many animals as we could. Before the rain came.
The kids are trying to feed the parakeets. Hoping that the birds would come and feed from their cups. We had no such luck. The birds were so colorful.
Someone gave a us three coupons for free popcorn, we took a quick break and enjoyed a snack for us. Here is Karlee and Molly enjoying the popcorn.

Grateful that we had brought the wagon along Molly and Karlee enjoyed a ride through the rest of the zoo from Audra.
It was the cutest thing, by the end of the trip Kelsie and Elizabeth had become best buds. They bonded over the simple fact that they had the same Kindergarten teacher and knew the same songs. As we exited the zoo they sang at the top of their lungs about Benny Bear. People got a kick out of their little songs.
