Goin On My Trip, Mom

Kelsie came knocking at my bedroom door this morning. When I answered it she said, "Mom I am ready to go on my train trip I am all packed." It was so cute she had her backpack and suitcase ready to go. I asked her what she had packed in her suitcase and backpack- as I looked in she said her "George (stuff monkey) and bear" in her suit case. And then nicely folded in her backpack "Princess dress and shoes". Kyle and her were going to leave today to take the train up to his mom's house. But late last night we decided to wait until Monday to go. Kelsie didn't find out that she wasn't going until this morning and she was so sad. She is so excited to see grandma and spend time at grandma's house.
Another thing that happen today was kind of funny and sad. Karlee who is 10 1/2 months old, likes to follow me around the house she is like my little shadow and I love it. I was unloading the dishwasher and she was right there helping me. She likes to play with the place were you put the soap, you know how it has the little lid to shut. Well she was playing around with it and she was trying to close it with one hand while the other hand was in the right in the way where it would close. She would push it close harder and scream out in pain as her hand was in the way. I rushed to her aid, pick her up and gave her hugs and kisses. The funny part about this is that she did the same thing about two days ago, you think that she would of learn the first time. Okay it is not really that funny. I think now I will close that lid so I don't lose my helper and she doesn't get hurt anymore.
