Christmas Eve at G3

It has been a tradition as long as I can remember, that on Christmas Eve we go over to G3. (My dad's mom's house if that made sense.) We have the great grandkids nativity; this year we threw in some speaking parts. Since we had speaking parts we had a dress rehershal in the basement before the show and I think it went better. All the kids did an awesome job. We should do a dress rehershal every year and then maybe throw in a cast party afterwards :0).

We made Marshmallow Snowman, I had so many giant marshmallows leftover from the Guptill Family Reunion that I thought that this would be a good use for them. The snowmen turned out so cute, the kids were so creative on how they used the candy to make them up. You also could say a lot of candy got eaten along the way.

We had Santa stop by for a visit and everyone got to get one last chat in with him. Before he stop by the house. Then we had a fun game of the White Elephant gift exchange. And a lot of great food. It is alway fun spending time with family and making wonderful memories that you will remember forever.
Here is picture of most the cast of the Nativity; Angel: Kelsie, Mary: Kallie, Joseph: Jaron, Inn Keeper and Shepherd: Matthew, Baby Jesus: Olivia, Shepherd: Larue, Wise Men: Matilda, Anna, and Karlee (not in picture), Lamb: Adelaide (not in picture). My kids and I made the scenery the week before for FHE, we had a lot of fun coloring it.

The other half of the table. Karlee REALLY enjoyed eating her man.
Kelsie with Santa making sure he brings her a unicorn pillow pet.
Jaron got a kick out of his visit, I wonder what Santa told him?
Karlee was scared and hid behind Aunt Serena, but eventually sat on Santa's lap and got a candy cane.
And Kallie too had a visit with Santa, she didn't want to at first, but then I think it turned out okay. I couldn't hear what she had asked for.
The Kenner Family with Santa
And even G3 had a quick chat with Santa.
Thank you Grandma for opening your home.

After the fun evening at G3 we headed home to my parents house. Set out the cookies and milk for Santa, with a nice note from the kids. Put out 16 stockings and then settle down to sleep.
