Kallie had her "Magic-Star-Special" Birthday. She turned 10. We are not having her friend birthday until the following week. So I wanted to make her day special. I love birthdays!!! I told her to plan out her day of things that she likes to do and what her favorite dinner is. They had a primary activity and had a lot of fun at that (while the older kids were at the activity Karlee and I went to get helium balloons for Kallie, that was fun in it self). Then we came home and played her favorite board game "LIFE". Time for a movie that she picked at the Red box - "The Princess and The Frog". (I am not quiet sure about that movie.)
Then we had her favorite dinner...Parmesan Chicken, Mash Potatoes, Fruit Salad (to look like a rainbow), Dinner Rolls, Corn and Strawberry Lemonade. We enjoyed a great dinner together. And then she asked to have a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting which I made into a giant cupcake with cookie dough ice cream. Now if you know me, I do no candles on the cake. So we sang "Happy Birthday" to her and she blew out her imaginary candles.
After we sang she asked if she could take a bite out of her cupcake cake, I said sure. She had at it. It was the funniest thing ever. And it was a good time had by all.

I can't believe that my oldest is now double digits. I still can remember when she was a baby. All day long we told her different facts about the day she was born. It was kind of funny we told her that she was not born until 5 p.m. And so she kept saying all day that she hadn't turned 10 yet, until 5 p.m. I am sad that she is getting older. But she is turning into a beautiful young tween. I love her so much and I am so proud of her. I love you Kallie, Happy Birthday!!!
