Day Out to Play

For spring break we stayed home, it was VERY cold outside for the beginning of the week and we were down to just one car at the time. So the later half of the week Kyle used the van to get to work, another reason we stayed home. On Saturday Kallie was invited to a birthday party in Kenai, so I took Kyle to work so we could have the van. We made a day of things about town. 

 We took our trash to the dump, and we have been told that there are tons of bald eagles there. The first couple of times that we had gone we couldn't find them, but each time that we go we are seeing more and more. Today we saw about ten, can you spot the one in this picture.

 Karlee is into dressing herself right now, she doesn't like to have anyone but Kelsie tell her what to wear. The two girls picked out their outfits making sure that they both had green on. (What you don't see in this picture is she has a t-shirt over the top of her dress.) Now we are getting out of the car to go into Wal-mart and she wanted to bring in all these clothes so she could change into them when she got inside. We nix that and she only brought in a different sweater to wear in the store.:0)

 We spent two hours walking and looking around Wal-mart. While there we there in the Easter aisle, Jaron saw this quilted place mat, and he was all serious and said " mom look at this cute face blanket". I told him it was a egg place mat and I wanted to get a picture with him and the mat. After I took the picture he said that was so embarrassing mom. :0( he is growing up. )0: We found many fun things at Wal-mart.

Kyle called and asked if we wanted to go and have lunch with him at the hospital. The kids were all excited to go and be with dad. It turned out to be a really fun day and good to get out of the house, we all needed that.
